Friends for 1883 Magazine
One of my first projects for issue 6 of 1883 Magazine was to style the Brooklyn based band 'Friends' for a 3 page feature story. It was almost a total disaster as due to miscommunication with their PR, the band showed up having no idea I was bringing clothing along for them to wear. The guys were fully against being clothed by a stylist but luckily the girls Samantha (lead singer) and Lesley (bassist) loved the organza John Rocha dresses I brought so the day was saved. Phew.
Kirill Kuletski photographed the shoot in my friends Iran & Baron's tiny flat on Clerkenwell Road (thanks guys!) I chose the place because I loved their scribbles and drawings on the wall and randomly they had a giant bag full of these gold streamers which went perfectly with the John Rocha looks and basically covered up the boys own clothing.
The girls were both really gorgeous to photograph and loved the Chopard jewellery we brought along (love how Samantha stuck the earring in her hair). So in the end it was a good day. Buy issue 6 online HERE to check out the full interview with Friends and check out a few of their videos below.

chadchad of the day 7.5
polka dot suit / Topman
floral vest top / American Apparel
blue clutch / Louis Vuitton
sunglasses / street vendor
blue loafers / G.I.L. Homme
Thanks to Pause Magazine for this street style snap out my outfit on Day 2 at London Fashion Week. I wanted to play with pattern and varying shades of blue for this look and it was one of my favorite outfits of the week. Unfortunately I don't get to keep the polka dot suit as it was a loan, but the rad floral tank top is all mine :) Too bad I'll have to wait til next spring to wear it again.

1883 Editor's Pick
I wanted to share one of my favorite images from issue 6 of 1883 which is my Editor's Pick, shot by the super talented and totally sweet Cecilie Harris. Orange was my inspiration for my first ever pick as Fashion Editor, and I chose to feature a striped eel skin and wool top from Lanvin for the boys and a very Grandma's curtain print pair of Dolce & Gabbana boots for the ladies, both from FW12. Below are a few other shots of models Sam from Next & Caitlin from Select which didn't make it into the magazine but which I love just as much.
ps. you can buy issue 6 of 1883 Magazine here.

Glen Check '84'
LOVE LOVE this newly released video by Glen Check from Korea for his song '84'. I want to move into this triangle, unicorn galaxy land and hear vintage beats all day long. Also the blonde in the video is my 친안 친구 (aka. good friend) Cory who looks so badass, especially with diamond lights shining out of her eyes. Love it, share it and make it go viral y'all!

Pony Boy: Behind the Scenes
Loving this video that Sarah Keeling shot for my Pony Boy editorial from issue 6 of 1883 Magazine. It features some great detail shots of a few of my favorite pieces, including the pony hat by Burger Kim, the gold capped shoes from Christian Louboutin and the leather harnesses from Naza Yuzefi. You can also see a few looks that didn't make the editorial, including an Issey Miyake Men jumpsuit with black crocodile hat from Katie Eary worn by John and the Vivienne Westwood fur coat worn by Jordan. Hope you enjoy!

mood 0.1
I wanted to share some of the inspiration and mood boards behind a few of my recent shoots. The above is for my 'Pony Boy' editorial shot by Sarah Brimley for issue 6 of 1883 Magazine which was just released in newsstands on Friday. Obviously a lot of leather and pony skin, lots of black and white shots but mixed with color. A bit film noir meets S&M.
Below is my mood board for the 'New Hackney Girl' editorial I shot for 1883 Digital with Tomas Hein. The initial idea for the clothes was a bit more pastel inspired, with eccentric layering and ethnic patterns. Tomas talked me out of going too pastel which I'm happy about and I was thrilled to see the quirky cut and paste layering he ended up doing with the photos. Both shoots I'm really proud of!

Just discovered that my editorial for 1883 Digital on Alexis Mabille x HOM underwear (shot by Charl Marais featuring model Michael Morgan) was in the top 5 articles read on Homotography's website in August. The above left image (that was ours) was reblogged 754 times so far on tumblr. Snap! See the original interview and full editorial HERE.
