606 for Carbon Copy Magazine

cover
Another menswear story I worked on with Alexandra Leese, this time for Carbon Copy magazine - the brother publication to Client.  Alex was inspired by old school Brooklyn jazz clubs in the 40's for this story, so I pulled in a lot of hats, pinstripes, bow ties and waistcoats for this story from tailors like Ede & Ravenscroft and Hardy Aimes to mix with more contemporary brands like Pringle of Scotland, Kris Van Assche and Vivienne Westwood MAN, plus a few cool pieces from young menswear designer Jaehwan Park.  .  I think my favorite image is one directly below with the grey waistcoat, pinstriped shirt and baggy pleated camouflage trousers from Kenzo.

disco damage

Disco Damage - December 2011 2354-grad-crop copyDD
I finally got back some more images from a shoot I styled for DJ duo Disco Damage and photographed by Thomas Hein - the rest of the images can be seen HERE.  The shot below features a star patterned leather jacket by Korean label Human Potential and a plastic 'Temple Talisman' oversized necklace by FinchittidaFinch.  I'm doing another shoot with them tomorrow with a 'forbidden fruit' theme - can't wait to see how that turns out!

LOVEHATS.com

IMG_0069
Blow PR presented the official press launch of LOVEHATS.com on Tuesday night at the Arts Club on Dover Street. Proving to be a who's who of the millinary glitterati the party featured hats on display from the likes of Philip Treacy, J. Smith Esquire and Emma Yeo, however it was little old Burger Kim and his homemade horse head hat that stole the show. Go Burger!  Check out some of the other styling guests below.
