I just got a sneak peak of the newly released SS12 collection by Filipino label  PROUDRACE yesterday via twitter and I can't stop thinking about how much I want this black suede(?) backpack with long black tassels.  So very cool.  I'm also a huge fan of the very soft looking oversized black t-shirt with contrasting grey sleeves that reach past the elbow and of course the cheeky Versace logo 'VIRGIN' t-shirt.  A very dark yet casual collection for spring/summer.

My roommate is officially Sweden's best dressed man!  I took a photo of my flatmate and old coworker Oscar a few months ago, which he submitted for a competition by cafe.se and luckily he won!  His prize was a very cool shopping spree back in Stockholm at Dior, Hope, Whyred, Bjorn Borg and Filippa K where he bought me this very smart looking navy shirt with grey jersey sleeves as a thank you.  Well done Oscar!

Burger and I went to Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park on Sunday night and he was definitely dressed warm for the occasion.  He got a few comments about how 'Russian' he looked because of the big fur hat (I was also wearing my matching hat) along with his long jacket that he bought at a vintage store on Brick Lane, but Russians definitely know how to dress for the cold so it makes sense.


I love how he wore the silver western style collar tips with the thick gold chain - after the fur hat and the long jacket they are the first things you see.  Then you notice the almost hidden double swallow brooch and they all clash so well together - a perfect mixture of cowboy meets gangster meets grandma.

Another HUGE thanks to Rebekah and the team at Human Potential in Korea for sending over this Invader Gorilla sweater to me.  It's the softest, warmest thing I own and is perfect for walking around London in the evenings doing a little Christmas browsing.  I wore it to a photo shoot for 1883 Magazine at a chilly studio a few weeks ago and the other assistant Lindsay couldn't keep her hands off me, she said I was like a giant teddy bear.  If you want to pick one up and you aren't in Korea, check out HUPOT's selection on Notjustalabel.com.

These are a pair of studded skeleton like gloves that I made myself.  I sold many a pair in South Korean at the Bling/Platoon Night Flea Market that I used to attend every month. This is the 'cat on cat' outfit Burger wore to the 1883 Magazine Christmas party at the W Hotel last week.  The leopard print top which he picked up from a concession called 'The Village Green' in Topman/Topshop is a total crowd pleaser as is the gold lion's foot neckchain that he matched it with.  He found a few of these old furniture leg pieces at an antique junk market and just strapped it to a chain a few minutes before we left the house.  Stay tuned because I do believe he is going to make a hat using the remaining lion's feet.  Also, how cute are the green patterned socks matched with the top?  Very.

wut berlin ss12

My friend Ben just modeled in the spring summmer 2012 pattern explosion of a collection for Wut Berlin in Tokyo.  Styled with Greek god-like golden eyebrows & winged headbands, the models wore layers of pastel patterns and patchwork.  A very loud and proud of it show not for the faint of heart.  Right up my alley.
