This is an editorial I styled for hawkmag.tumblr a few months ago, working once again with photographer Barry Craske & Cole as our model. We shot along the canal near London Fields and in a cozy little cafe called Hurwundeki. I basically just tore through mine & Burger's closets for this shoot & used a lot of clothes from our Burger & Fries boutique, including the shirts with tassels or pompoms & the Mexican blanket hat.

Yesterday morning Burger and I decided to hit up the Sunday Up Market along Brick Lane for brunch.  It's full of boutique clothing and accessories sellers, both vintage and handmade, along with a dozen or so super delicious ethnic food stalls including Ethiopian, Greek, Mexican and Indian food.  I opted for some savory okonomiyaki from one of the Japanese stalls.

I didn't even need a jacket the weather was so mild. So I just layered this American Apparel sweatshirt that I reformed by adding black pompoms along the sleeves with my new faux fur muffler, another thoughtful gift from Korean label Human Potential.

I have a similar reformed sweater from American Apparel for sale on our Burger & Fries ASOS Marketplace boutique, this one with polka dots and white pompoms. Truly one of a kind!

I've been obsessed with silk patterned shirts lately so when I was back in Edmonton, Canada over the Christmas holidays I did a little vintage hunting and came upon this beauty in a Value Village thrift store. I mean, just look at those colors!  It's such a classic.  I also found this little bolo tie that has a gold saddle in the center of a silver and white circle.  I've been looking for the perfect bolo tie for awhile as well and this might be just the one.

I wore these eggplant leather loafers from Zara to bring out the purple in the shirt. I layered the look with a vintage school uniform blazer over the top which I had reformed a while ago by changing the buttons and replacing the long sleeves with little cap sleeves instead.

Another HUGE thanks to Rebekah and the team at Human Potential in Korea for sending over this Invader Gorilla sweater to me.  It's the softest, warmest thing I own and is perfect for walking around London in the evenings doing a little Christmas browsing.  I wore it to a photo shoot for 1883 Magazine at a chilly studio a few weeks ago and the other assistant Lindsay couldn't keep her hands off me, she said I was like a giant teddy bear.  If you want to pick one up and you aren't in Korea, check out HUPOT's selection on Notjustalabel.com.

These are a pair of studded skeleton like gloves that I made myself.  I sold many a pair in South Korean at the Bling/Platoon Night Flea Market that I used to attend every month. I thought I'd get a little touristy again the other day so Burger and I hit up Buckingham Palace, another place I haven't been to since I was 16. I remember it being a lot more glorious back in the day - but I can still appreciate the gold trimmed wrought iron gates.



I decided to rock my PICASSO inspired silk vintage jacket that I bought at Dongmyo vintage market in Korea for W1,000 ($1.00 US). Such a great pattern! I wore it with my silver triangle necklace, one of my favorite pieces from our Burger & Fries boutique on ASOS Marketplace. I crafted it from silver antique key hole decorations that I picked up a junk market.



I also wore my faceless non-watch, another item I'm selling on the boutique. It's a fun conversation piece because, let's face it, who actually needs a watch these days when everyone has their smartphone attached to them at all times of the day.
