I wanted to share some of the images from my shoot with singer Willy Moon for the 5th issue of 1883 Magazine, include some of the unused, previously unseen shots. Photographed by Mark Cant, we wanted to keep Willy in smart tailored looks and play on his 50's sort of vibe using brands like Versace, Ozwald Boateng, Jonathan Saunders, Acne, Z Zegna and Alexander McQueen.
I love his videos and the energy he puts into dancing. It's such a unique sound and the videos, directed by his girlfriend, mesh perfectly with his persona. Here is Willy's latest video, also directed by his girlfriend.

I recently wrote a blogpost for 1883 Magazine featuring some behind the scenes photos I took on the day we photographed a menswear editorial entitled Kingdom Comedown for issue 4. Styled by Filippo Giuliani and photographed by Hayley Louisa Brown, the editorial features a lot of pattern and some very bold set design by Elise Colledge from Darling and Edge.
Check out the super badass video promo made by Yeast London for the upcoming 4th issue of 1883 Magazine with cover star Tom Hiddleston, which will be available everywhere just a few weeks time. Currently starring in War Horse and The Deep Blue Sea, you can also see Tom Hiddleston as the bad guy Loki in both Thor as well as in the spring release of The Avengers.
You can see a sneak peak of some of the very cool clothing from the cover shoot by the likes of Versace, Louis Vuitton and Tom Ford, all styled by my fashion editor at 1883, Filippo Giuliani. This was one of the first shoots I got to assist on since starting with the fashion team at 1883 and it was a pleasure meeting Tom and working in such a cool location (The Roost in Dalston).
I just got a sneak peak of the newly released SS12 collection by Filipino label PROUDRACEyesterday via twitter and I can't stop thinking about how much I want this black suede(?) backpack with long black tassels. So very cool. I'm also a huge fan of the very soft looking oversized black t-shirt with contrasting grey sleeves that reach past the elbow and of course the cheeky Versace logo 'VIRGIN' t-shirt. A very dark yet casual collection for spring/summer.
Yesterday I went down to H&M flagship location on Regent Street for the 1883 Magazine blog to cover the opening day of The Very Best of Versace for H&M collaboration launch. For a full look at the madness and to see a video of the ginormous queue, click HERE!
The full Versace for H&M lookbook is finally out and I'm drooling over more than one piece from the collection. I'm a major fan of the all in one pink panther look which is the first teaser I saw a few weeks ago. The metal collar tips are so on trend and the silk scarf looking print in ornamental gold swirls, green leopard & palm trees against a blue sky of the sleeves on that black jacket is very very hot. I'm also into the head to toe black & white graphic print, which is a hard look to not only find for men, but more importantly to pull off - though I am 100% up for that challenge. For something with Versace on the label, this collection will have a much more accessible price tag, however we all know that it being released at H&M means every Tom, Dick & fairy in London will be wearing something from it.
