I recently got my hands on Korean designer Juyoung Lee's lookbook for Ressurection FW12 and there are definitely a lot of looks on my WANT list.  The olive green jacket above with the long, black fur is for sure a favorite and I love how all the looks are warmly styled with turtleneck tops.  Her sunglasses range is a favorite of mine and she is well known for her leather detailing and use of skirts for men.  

There is regularly a sort of Mad Hatter meets Jedi knight rock star mood to her collections with this seasons being no exception.  Another favorite are the chevron striped pants in burgundy and brown colors at the bottom of this post.  Someone in London has got to start stocking this stuff!

 I recently stumbled across the FW12 lookbook by Italian born, Antwerp trained fashion designer Andrea Cammarosano.  The opulence and pastel color palette of the very French looking salon in the first two images were what initially caught my attention, but the intriguing fabrics are what really make me WANT a lot of this colleciton.  My favorites pieces are the mint striped top (I'm still totally on a mint kick!), the braided belt trousers and the shiny silver feather trousers.  The quilted canary yellow jacket & shorts show Cammarosano's wild & quirky side, which was probably honed while designing under WALTER VAN BEIRENDONCK in Belgium and would be so fun to style an editorial with.

I'm so obsessed with bulky, oversized sweaters at the moment (which probably has a lot to do with the fact that my flat has no central heating to speak of) so when I came across these Sexy-Sweaters today, I was in love. WANT! The pop culture references and oversized food images are pretty adorable and would make the perfect curl-up-to-watch-movies-on-a-chilly-grey-Sunday sweaters. But there's a catch: they don't actually make the sweaters...yet. Boo :( Fingers crossed they figure out out to get some of these designs into production.

I'm so all about the new Prada SS12 campaign starring Michael Pitt (how rad is he in Boardwalk Empire?!) and I especially WANT this over the top adorable cartoon print shirt.  It reminds me of old comic books and vintage wallpaper that you might find in a little boys room.  Totally sweet.  Though when I showed it to a few female coworkers they were all 'yuck!' lol.


Another reason I find this campaign so appealing is how awkward most of the photographs (shot by photographer David Sims) are and how unsure Michael Pitt seems in front of the camera.  It's an interesting combination and I like the outcome much better than the FW11 Prada campaign with Toby Maguire.  It definitely makes me want to go and buy a patterned silk scarf to accessorize with this spring.

want 1.2: ivan curia nunes

I've been researching some fresh, young designers for an upcoming menswear shoot that I'm assisting on for 1883 Magazine and I came upon recent Central Saint Martins graduate Ivan Curia Nunes. I was interested in & excited by a lot of the other graduates runway debuts but in the end Nunes mainly linen collection was the stand out star and I WANT it all. The muted color palette and exaggerated silhouettes were slightly reminiscent of some of my favorite young Korean menswear designers like Groundwave, Alani and Irony Porn(o). And just how effortlessly cool are those sunglasses?

want 1.1: katie eary

Last week I assisted on a menswear shoot for 1883 Magazine and one of the stand out designers we pulled from was Katie Eary (Exposure PR), a London based designer who makes some really effing cool menswear pieces. This hat was one of the pieces we pulled along with some of her animal print tops and thick, almost plastic trousers from her SS12 collection which she showed this season at the Somerset House back in September.


I love the tan almost untreated looking leather of the cap with the huge leather stitches, which she also used in jacket in her collection. Orange was a huge color in the show as was shiny gold which was featured on the back of a few of those long & thick trousers I mentioned. The bald eagle t-shirt screams cool and the silk growling mirrored cheetah top (another want!) looks smart with the sky blue trousers. want 1.0: agi & sam

I've blogged about Agi & Sam before and I'm even more in love with their SS12 collection, adorably titled 'Tabasco, Tequila and Tomato Juice'. The slip on shoes above in the wicker basket print are so so rad, and I obviously love a good pop color like the bright teal, purple, pink & orange found throughout the collection. Agi & Sam are a master of quirky & creative prints, but if bright colors and patterns give you a scare, each piece in this collection could easily be worn alone as a statement piece and styled with more casual basics to balance the loudness.
