cracker your drama

Cracker Your Wardrobe, a street style magazine based in Seoul, South Korea has recently launched a web drama called (you guessed it) Cracker Your Drama, which will be released over the next 10 months.  In episode 3: Metamorphosis my friend Takahito Irie, a Japanese artist that I met in Seoul while he was taking part in a residency at Platoon Kunsthalle, makes an appearance.  You can also see a giant photo of my face being carried around and yelled at by the protagonist.  I'm painted like a 'Human Machine' which is the title of a recent collection of work by Takahito.

Takahito Irie is a Japanese artist, current artist in residence at Platoon Kunsthalle and a neighbor of mine. He is currently researching technology's effects on human development and the changing human body. Check out his website H/U/M/A/N M/A/C/H/I/N/E for more of his images of real life power ranger/manga/robot style humans.
