my last weekend in Seoul! like, ever.

MY LAST WEEK IN KOREA has been flying past with goodbyes & last minute errands & must-get-before-i-leave shopping trips & chasing down money & editing/blogging fashion week pics & posting way too many boxes to London, etc, etc. It's seriously been a whirlwind, but I guess no matter how much time you give yourself, you always end up rushing in the end.


But to celebrate my last weekend there are some pretty fun events going on. Tonight I'll be at Platoon Kunstehalle in Apgujeong to watch Salon Revolutionar with RufXXX. The Platoon crew is definitely on my goodbye list and what better match than having the RufXXX crew from my hood put on a lovely performance. Doors open at 7pm and no entrance after the performance starts at 8pm!


Now for Saturday a long lost love has returned to Hongdae - Mixtape. Since I'm going to be missing SHAKE! next weekend Mixtape will be serve as a more than suitable dirty dance party send off. Come join the fun & get messy with me at HodgePodge after 10pm.

bling night flea market @ platoon this saturday!

The Bling Night Flea Market is back for it's 18th round and once again I will have a space to hawk some of the reformed & vintage goods & handmade accessories I've been working on. Come out to Platoon Kunsthalle tomorrow for a pint and a German schnitzel & be sure to stop by to pick up one of the new stickers I had printed! Today is the Bling Night Flea Market at Platoon Kunsthalle and I have been busy reformed a lot of vintage clothing and creating necklaces to sell in a booth with my friend Cory. I found this vintage toggle coat at Dongmyo market for only W3,000 ($3US). I used a seam ripper to detach the arms then used a blanket stitch to reattach the lining. Quite easy work and I was really happy with the outcome. I made a black one & a brown herringbone one just like it to sell tonight.  I layered it over a denim jacket for today's look, but when spring comes it will be just as wearable over a t-shirt.


These woven loafers were also thrifted at Dongmyo for only W10,000 ($10US). Amazing for summer but when worn correctly can be used almost all year long. I matched them with these pink trousers I picked up in Seoul at a shop in Apgujeong called San Francisco Market. I have a sky blue pair exactly the same.
