Man Like Me

Squeeze – the latest all over the place video from Man Like Me is out now and features a studded vintage red leather jacket by Burger & Fries from our ASOS Marketplace boutique. From the aisle of a shopping mart to the scene of a virgin sacrifice, the two boys styled by @MinnaAttala romp and dance and stumble around the video to quite the catchy tune.  Sadly this particular leather jacket is sold out, but here are a few other reformed beauties just waiting for a new home:

milan mens FW12 shoes

Images of FW12 menswear from Milan Fashion Week are pouring in from all over the internet and I for one am chomping at the bit waiting for the day when I get to see some of these designs up close and personal. Good accessories can make or break a show and two collections whose footwear not to mention hosiery stood out for FW12 were that of DOLCE & GABBANA (above) and PRADA.

There was a lot of variety in the footwear presented at DOLCE & GABBANA this season, from studs to suede to ornate slippers.  The embroidered socks are my personal favorite and I can totally envision a DIY project inspired by these in the future.

PRADA FW12 had a very militaristic, super-villain vibe going on in the clothing and was styled with some very quirky shoes.  I love the lace-ups with the contrasting rubber, almost like those slip on covers your grandfather wore in the spring so his good leather shoes didn't get ruined in the mud & rain.  And the floral leather details really drew your attention, especially when worn with the calf high patterned socks.

Say hello to HOT PINK JESUS! I wanted to rock the necklace I made for a shoot I helped with last week for today's chadchad of the day. I assisted my friend Gemma Winter to style a cover shot for singer Nina's latest release 'Take Me Away'. It's a fun track and it will be released on AZTEC RECORDS on September 30th.

Now that I'm back in London, this time for an extended period of time, I thought I'd bring back 'Burger Kim of the day' since this kid is overflowing with creative genius and I can photograph him anytime I like since he is now my flatmate. There aren't many guys out there who could rock a pair of Lego print leggings, but they go so well with Burger that you barely blink an eye.






I handmade the burger, fries & milkshake hat as well as the McNugget 'Eat Me' necklace and gave them to Burger last Christmas. I cut the shapes out of felt and hand-stiched them together. Then I cut out the letters and used a glue gun to attach them onto the burger & the nuggets. Finally I added a few studs for sesame seeds and around the rim of the hat to give it a tougher look.
