burger kim of the day 1.0
white shirt with bow / Marjan Pejoski
black shorts / cutoff Dr. Denim
black lace suspenders / Hurwundeki
black patent leather shoes / Swear
sock suspenders / handmade
For Burger's 24th birthday we went to see CHICAGO at the Cambridge Theatre in Covent Garden. Such a fun time with so many songs to sing along to, though I totally preferred Renee Zellweger and Catherine Zeta Jones as Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly respectively in the movie adaptation. Unfortunately it totally bummed me out that maybe like 5% of the crowd actually dressed up to see the performance. I mean, who wears a hoodie and jeans to see a musical?? Such a shame.
But as you can see, Burger was far from underdressed. He rocked this lovely white shirt with the big bold bow from Marjan Pejoski, paired nicely with the lace suspenders (braces for you Brits). He picked them up at Hurwundeki, a trendy London shop with locations in Covent Garden and Shoreditch.
I'm not a super huge fan of pointy toed shoes but I'll make an exception for these patent leather ones from Swear. He wore them with some shredded and cutoff pantyhose and the sock suspenders I made to wear to my friend Sarah's very first WhiteNoize party at Club Answer in Seoul, way back in the spring of '09. (miss you WhiteNoize!)
