Saturday night was the Das Racist concert at Rolling Hall in Hongdae. They were brought to Seoul by supercolorsuper - a booking group that has brought bands like YACHT, Caribou and Handsome Furs to Korea for a decent price (unlike the Jonsi concert which was here recently for W99,000 a ticket - barf!). This concert was exactly what I needed - I haven't been to a good dance party in such a long time (miss you SHAKE!) and these guys had so much energy - half the crowd got onstage to dance with them for final song which was, of course 'Combination Pizza Hut & Taco Bell'. Also, free Taco Bell coupons - gotta like that. I officially heart DR.
And how much do I WANT WANT this canary yellow vintage Yves Saint Laurent sweatshirt? Let's just say very much.
Tecla opened and pretty much blew my mind as well - not just her voice but her banging style. Blood red lips, high waisted acid wash jeans with gold jangles and a lacy corset-like top. Loved her look. So hot she set the stage on fire - literally.
